Recensione: 

Fa piacere sapere che qualcuno si è occupato di quest'opera della band svedese a livello non brutalmente tecnico (songmeanings.com). Più volte è stato detto che questo brano parla di qualcuno che gioca con l'idea di suicidarsi (SoulRapist, 2006; lakajj, 2007). Secondo altri, i Deathstars si sono scagliati contro gli Emo e le loro manie pseudo-suicidarie da poser (Lordofabortion, 2010). Secondo altri ancora, ci sarebbero connessioni più o meno simboliche con l'Uomo di Braunau, Adolf Hitler, in qualche modo impersonato dal cantante (sydneysomething, 2007; killerbob665, 2007). I Deathstars, va specificato, non aderiscono ai dogmi del Nazionalsocialismo tedesco e non sono adoratori del figlio di Klara Pölzl (ThePsychoticWolf, 2009). Credo che tutte queste interpretazioni reperibili nel Web possano essere considerate assolutamente riduttive, perché i commentatori non hanno la benché minima capacità di comprendere cosa sia l'Inumano. In realtà, lasciandomi pervadere dalla musica e dalle parole martellanti del testo urlato, ho la certezza assoluta di ciò che esprimono: la necessità furiosa di annientamento del genere umano!

Curiosità: 

Il nome del gruppo, formatosi nel 2000, non ha nulla a che vedere con la cosiddetta Morte Nera (in inglese Deathstar, ossia "Stella della Morte") di Star Wars. La coincidenza è dovuta a una stravagante sincronicità. 

Lo pseudonimo di Andreas Bergh, Whiplasher Bernadotte mi incuriosisce. Non ho idea della sua origine, anche se posso azzardare un'ipotesi: Bernadotte potrebbe essere il suo cognome materno. Se così fosse, egli sarebbe un discendente del generale napoleonico Jean-Baptiste Jule Bernadotte (Pau, 1763 - Stoccolma, 1844), Principe di Pontecorvo, diventato Re di Svezia come Carlo XIV Giovanni e Re di Norvegia come Carlo III Giovanni. 

Il Web non mi è molto utile; trovo lodevole l'usanza latino-americana del doppio cognome, paterno e materno, che aiuta a capire subito con chi si ha a che fare.
